G'day all,
Have any of you had any experience with adding a performance chip to the Landcruiser 4.5l petrol?
Did the chip make a difference to fuel consumption/economy and performance?
Thankyou
Regards
Brendan

Probably wont help but a few have done TD diesels.

You really need to do the exhaust as well to get the full benefit.

I have a Safari chip and a 3"mandrel exhaust and dyno went from 145hp to just over 165.

Goes better but fuel stayed the same

Hi Brendood
Fitted a unichip to my 80 series 4500 petrol /LPG
with dual mapping fitted buy autotech $1300 for dual mapping.
http://www.autotechengineering.com.au/test.php

one map for lpg and the other for petrol .
On the dyno i got the preformance increase as stated buy unichip 10%.
And have more power on lpg than 91 ulp.
Didn't notice any improvement on fuel economy.
and the engine revs out and runs alot smoother.

Search this forum key word UNICHIP or UNI CHIP, as i and others have posted on this before.

Rob

I only ever made one mistake
and that's when I thought I was wrong!
